All Shower Tray Extensions and Curbs are designed by Indiana Floors LLC (Patent Pending)
These tray extensions are designed to take the guess work out of what to do with a shower that is larger than the standard size or any odd size shower.
They also take the place of any mudbed that would need to be applied to fill in around any standard size pan allowing for a consistant density area to set your tile on.
Based on my 37 years in this trade...We do not support the suggestions that mortar bed should be applied if your standard tray does not fit correctly as this means you have two different densities of subfloor material under your floor tile, this is never an acceptable application. This can leaqd to what we call (Picture Framing) mean the tile and grout will crack directly over the area that has two seperate densities.

These Shower Tray Extension were designed by myself here at Indiana Floors LLC to allow a consistant pressure rating on your shower floor.

They are **Made In America** and are in a Patent Pending stage and are the only ones like it on the market.
We have applied our install experience to this design and developed the style we felt would offer the best support and application for your new shower.

INSTALLATION WITH OUR SHOWER TRAYS KERDI OR PROVAMAT:
(Dry-fit = No Thinset...yet) Set the Tray Extension the side of your primary presloped tray.
Use a sharp utility knife and trim the excess as needed, either cut through or snap this area off.

When you set your Floor Tray in the thinset; line the tray extension-to-tray with modified thinset.
Line entire unit with Waterproofing Membrane specs; Pro-Va Mat or Kerdi.
Troubleshooting:
If you have a slight miscut when you size the tray extension, don't sweat it, just fill the gap with thinset.
If you tray extension is slighty lower just level the area with thinset.
